Soft Computing Research Society is introducing the "SCRS Students' Chapter" for Engineering Colleges, Polytechnic Institutions and Universities. This program aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing support in imparting high-quality technical education.
The guidelines of opening a CHAPTER are as follows:
1. Engineering Colleges/ Polytechnic Institutions/Universities are eligible to establish a student chapter for any program (B. Tech /M. Tech./BCA/MCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/M. Sc. (Computer Science)).
2. For each student chapter, there must be one faculty adviser who will be a single point of contact (SPOC). The department will initiate the request to establish the student chapter with the name of a faculty adviser.
To start the students’ chapter, fill out the below online request form.
3. The SCRS authorities will approve the request for student chapter establishment after verification.
4. The SPOC will coordinate the registration of all the students of the program/course for which the chapter is being established.
5. The SPOC will share the registration link
with all the potential members of the course. The students can deposit the fee directly using this payment cum registration link alternatively, the SPOC can collect the fee and all relevant details through google form or other means and then deposit the same to the SCRS account.
6. A minimum of 100 students are required to initiate a chapter.
