Soft Computing Research Society is introducing the "SCRS Students' Chapter" for Engineering Colleges, Polytechnic Institutions and Universities. This program aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by providing support in imparting high-quality technical education.

Guidelines for Establishing a Chapter are as follows: 

1. Eligibility:
Any Engineering College, Polytechnic Institution, or University can establish a chapter for programs in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) domain, such as:
• B.Tech in Computer Science / AI / related specializations
• M.Tech in Computer Science / AI / related specializations
• BCA, MCA, B.Sc. (CS), M.Sc. (CS)

2. Faculty Adviser (SPOC):
• Each chapter must have one Faculty Adviser as the Single Point of Contact.
• The department initiates the request with the faculty adviser’s name.

3. Approval Process:
SCRS authorities will verify and approve requests for chapter establishment.

4. Student Registration:
• The SPOC coordinates registration for students of the selected program.

5. Membership Requirements:
• Minimum 100 students to start a chapter.
• From the next year onwards, minimum 50 new students must join annually.
