3) Are there any prerequisites for faculty involvement or student participation in setting up SCRS students' chapter?
One faculty member should register as SCRS member to act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC). A minimum of 100 students need to be registered with a one-time fee of Rs 500 to establish a chapter.
4) Can you provide information about the resources and support that SCRS offers its chapters?
SCRS arranges academic, research, and skill development activities for undergraduate students.
5) Can you provide an outline of the certification process for SCRS student chapter events?
All the chapter members will get a certificate of membership. All the registered participants who will attend any event organized by SCRS will be eligible to receive the certificate.
6) Is it possible for SCRS to cover the honorarium for speakers at events held under the chapter?
Yes, SCRS sponsors the honorarium of the speakers subject to prior approval.
7) Is it necessary to invite SCRS-recommended speakers only for the events organized by the student chapter?
No, it is not necessary. The institutions may invite speakers and inform the SCRS for the same.
8) Would it be possible to schedule an orientation session to introduce new members to SCRS and its activities?
All new chapters are inaugurated with the introduction of SCRS, followed by an academic talk by an eminent scholar from India or abroad.
9) What kind of events, workshops, and activities, both technical and non-technical, are typically conducted by the SCRS student chapter?

10) Is there an online platform or forum for SCRS student chapter members to interact?
Yes. SOPCs of the chapters are connected through a WhatsApp group.
12) Does SCRS have any affiliation with professional organizations such as ACM or IEEE?
SCRS is a leading research organization working across the globe. ACM and IEEE are independent research societies. There is no affiliation among them.
14) Can the SCRS student chapter collaborate with other colleges, both those under SCRS and those not affiliated with SCRS?
SCRS Chapter activities are only organized for the members who are registered under it.
15) Is the membership fee for the SCRS student chapter paid collectively as a bulk amount or individually by members?
The fee can be paid directly to SCRS via payment link https://paytm.me/9Yb-SNK or SPOC can collect the fee and deposit it to SCRS account.
17) What is the minimum number of events that the SCRS student chapter is expected to organize annually?
There is no minimum or maximum limit regarding the number of events that can be offered by a chapter. The number of events offered depends on the interests of the students and the availability of time and space in the academic calendar.
